A pair of production cels from the Disney Studios animated classic "Alice in Wonderland" (1951). Featuring the Mad Hatter just after getting whacked in the head by the March Hare, and the White Rabbit just after his pocket watch is "fixed" by the March Hare, the hand-painted cels were created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cels are actual frames of animation that were photographed and appear in the film. The Mad Hatter cel measures 12.5"x15.5" overall with the character image measuring 1.75"x5.25". The White Rabbit cel measures 10"x12" overall with the image measuring 2.75"x3". The cels are both in very good condition with minimal surface wear, minor line and paint wear, and staple holes at the top corners of the Mad Hatter cel. The cels have been prepared with a color printed reproduction custom background to present them together.
